Are you associated with a Dive Shop No. We are not associated with any dive shop or pool. Are you associated with any dive certification agency No. We are independent of any dive certification agency, however all dive certificatins must be issued by a certifying agency. Each instructor that works with us is certified through one of the certifying agencies. What is the Black Tip Dive Club Black Tip Divers is a group of friends that meet on a regular basis for fun and socializing. This club is just a group of friends that meets on a regular basis. We have no official officers. Are the planned events for divers only No. Each event is open to anyone. If you are looking to get certified or you have been diving for years, we welcome you. No, there are no membership dues or fees. We do however ask you to donate what you feel is appropriate whenever we meet. No one is required to donate but without some monies we cannot continue to provide a common link for a great group of people. These donations help in the cost of just keeping this group together, from the expense of this site to food and drink during dive trips. It is hard to explain, but those that have been on these dives can help explain What trips are currently planned Current trip plans are located on the main events page. |
